In February, 2020, it became known that owner and CEO Henrik Sørensen (80 pct., 63y) looked to sell the pumping solutions company Desmi preferably to a strategic buyer, but did not exclude future private equity-ownership. In an interview with newspaper Jern & Maskinindustrien, the owner now states that the sales plans are put on hold, having earlier hired Handelsbanken's corporate finance department to conduct a sales analysis. Originally wanting to step down as CEO, Sørensen must see himself lead the company a bit further down the road. Desmi delivered record-breaking financials for FY19 with revenues of DKK 1.55bn (+73% YoY) with EBITDA of DKK 335.2m (+353% YoY).<br />
