Aviko Rixona acquires German production site from Unilever

Unilever sells its Pfanni plant in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to Dutch potato products specialist Aviko Rixona. The Pfanni and Knorr brands, which are currently produced by the 210 FTEs in Stavenhagen, among others, will remain the property of Unilever, the company continued. The Dutch-British consumer goods group will also continue to distribute the relevant products and Aviko thus become its supplier. DLA Piper acted as sell side advisor.
