The low price chain Europris buys into the Swedish low price chain ÖoB in a collaboration with Runsvengruppen, which owns ÖoB. Europris has secured the right to take over the entire Swedish company in the long term. The companies will collaborate on procurement, concept development, online trading and automated solutions. The two chains will retain their independent management and brand. As part of the agreement, Europris will purchase a 20 percent stake in ÖoB with payment in Europris shares, and based on Friday's closing price, Europris implicitly pays NOK 190 million for the acquisition.
