LanguageWire acquires Belgian-based Xplanation

The danish tech- and service company LanguageWire has acquired its Belgian competitor Xplanation and becomes a global actor in its niche market. Both companies specializing in translation and providing content in various languages. With the acquisition, LanguageWire expects to report DKK 500m in net sales next fiscal year. LanguageWire did its previous acquisition in the spring 2018 and is owned by CataCap. Last year, LanguageWire reported EBITDA of DKK 24m. The deal value is undisclosed.
