On Monday, the general meetings of Lofoten Sparebank and Harstad Sparebank agreed to merge the two banks. The new bank will from January 1st be called Sparebank 68 Grader Nord and the goal is to strengthen the banks’ local competitiveness and profitability. The combined banks reported earnings before tax of NOK 63m on 09.30.2018. The banks have a total of 32 FTEs across 3 offices.
