MariaDB acquires Clustrix

MariaDB, the company behind the MySQL drop-in replacement database has announced that it has acquired Clustrix, also a MySQL drop-in replacement database, but with focus on scalability. Clustrix will be integrated into MariaDB own database, allowing it to offer a more scalable database service in the long run.
