Rosendahl Design Group acquires Kähler design A/S (Borsen)
Kähler owner Frantz Longhi missed the sale of the ceramic company to a private equity fund. Now Rosendahl Design Group acquires the business for an undisclosed three-digit DKKm amount. In 2015 and 2016, Kähler’s earnings totaled approx. DKK 110m. In 2017 Rosendahl experienced record high DKK 500m in sales with EBIT of DKK 52,5m.

Consulting firms Vertical Strategy and Rise digital are merging (Borsen)
Vertical Strategy is merging with digital consulting company Rise Digital A/S. Among the merged companies’ customers are Danske Bank, Maersk, TDC, Novozymes and TV2. Vertical Strategy has been a part of Qvartz since 2017 and Qvartz will also be the majority owner after the merger. Rise Digital reported gross profit of DKK 9.8m in 2017 while Vertical Strategy had a gross profit of DKK 15m.

Inission expands through acquisition of Speed Production (Press Release)

Inission Borås AB has acquired Speed Production AB from Speed Group AB, which is a part of Ratos. Like Inission, Speed Production is a contract manufacturer in electronics and in 2017 they had revenue of approximately SEK 50m. Through the acquisition, Inission will expand its largest factory. In the last six years, six companies have been consolidated into Inission.

ÅF acquires energy expert P.A.P in Denmark (Press Release)
The acquisition will establish ÅF on the Danish energy market, P.A.P is an engineering and consultancy company with expertise in electrical power covering all parts of the value chain from production to transmission and distribution. P.A.P has annual sales of approximately SEK 60m and is mainly active on the Danish market including the Faroe Islands and Greenland. The Company has 46 employees based in Copenhagen, Aalborg and Aarhus.

Bravida strengthens market position in Swedish Skellefteå (Press Release)
Bravida is acquiring Nyheden Fällfors El AB, bolstering its electrical market position in Skellefteå – a region of strong growth in northern Sweden. The acquired business offers services in service, installation and automation. The acquired company has 27 employees and annual sales of approximately SEK 40m with EBIT of SEK 2m.

Nobina completes acquisition of Samtrans (DI)
Nobina has gotten the last approvals to acquire the leading player in special public transport services in the Stockholm market, Samtrans Skol- och Handikapptransporter Stockholm AB, from TransportITGroup AB. In 2017, the company reported total annual sales of SEK 746m with EBT of SEK 106m. The purchase price comprises a fixed consideration of SEK 225m and a potential additional consideration of up to SEK 225m.

Verdane signs agreement to sell JSB Group A/S to Gurit (Press Release)

Norwegian PE Firm Verdane together with JSB Group’s other shareholders have agreed to sell JSB Group to Gurit for an equity value of DKK 520 million, subject to closing conditions. JSB Group is headquartered in Denmark and is the market leader for core material kits for wind turbine blades. JSB Group employs some 560 employees and expects to generate an annual turnover of around EUR 105m in 2018.

Vaisala acquires French Leosphere SAS (Press Release)

Vaisala strengthens its position in remote wind sensing by acquiring Leosphere SAS. Vaisala acquires all the shares in Leosphere SAS, a French company specializing in developing, manufacturing and servicing turnkey wind lidar (light detection and ranging) instruments for wind energy, aviation, meteorology, and air quality for a purchase price of EUR 38m. Leosphere's net sales in 2017 amounted to EUR 27 million and its EBIT reached double-digit level.
