Danish Farm supply company DLG looking for acquisitions in 2018-19 (Borsen)

DLG is looking for new large acquisitions after several years of divestments and declining revenue. Turnover has dropped to DKK 49b, but management reports increased earnings and plans new investment strategy to add value to core business areas. Recently published financial statement from 2017 shows a record high DKK 745m profit before taxes.

Infineon broadens tech portfolio with acquisition of Danish Merus Audio (Evertiq)

Infineon Technologies has acquired Copenhagen based start-up Merus Audio; a company specializing in audio performance and battery play back time. The acquisition is a strategic move to accommodate a growing demand for small, battery-powered speakers with high quality sound. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Hunter Group and recently acquired IKM Group looking to invest in oil-service companies (Aftenbladet)

Last weeks news reported well drilling company Hunter Group acquiring IKM Subsea & Technology for an estimated NOK 620m. The joined companies are now looking for further investments within the oil-service industry to enhance position in the North Sea and create global market presence.

Financial Investor places 30% stake bid on Hunter Group (Finansavisen)

Hunter Group, is in the spotlight following the recent acquisition news. Another part of the attention is centered around several bids including an offer to acquire a 30% stake in the company from an unknown financial investor. The offer has in the mean time been withdrawn due to conditional disagreements.
