Axcel could be seeing a final exit from fashion industry (Borsen)

After Axcel acquired Ball Aps, a fashion company 11 years ago, the transformation of the company is almost over. Axcel owns 90 percent of Ball Aps and the company had a revenue of 484M DKK in 2017. Kuno Kildetoft, CEO believes that the company has a revenue potential of 1B DKK, after seeing 20 percent growth over the last 2 years.

Uniconta could come up for sale if growth continues (Borsen)

The Danish company Uniconta, a software accounting firm is growing rapidly by gaining market share from Microsoft. Uniconta was founded by Erik Damgaard, who also founded Damgaard Data which merged with Navision and was then sold for 11B DKK to Microsoft. There has been a strong investor interest in this segment of the market, lately with the acquisition of E-conomic and Dinero, both software accounting companies acquired by Visma.

Altor looking towards tech-companies (Dagens Industri)

Altor will now also be focusing on investments in tech companies from its latest fund of 2B EUR. They have now brought in three people to its tech council, respectively Mattias Miksche, Fredrik Nylander and Ben Holmes. The council will advise Altor on future tech transactions, but highlights that they will not be doing venture capital.
