EU Commision clears acquisition of TDC (Euroinvestor)

The EU Commision has approved the acquisition of TDC by the consortium of PFA, PKA, ATP, and Macquarie. TDC shareholders have until 4 of April to decide whether to agree or decline the offer.

Veidekke buys 90.1 percent of Billström Riemer Andersson (Dagens Næringsliv)

Norway's largest contractor grows outside the country's borders as Veidekke buys 90.1 percent of the shares in the Swedish company Billström Riemer Andersson AB. The Swedish company had a turnover of SEK 1.4bn and 200 employees.

Casemet Oy acquires factories in Riihimäki and Pärnu (Lansi-Savo)

Manufacture of steel casings has acquired Larmek Oy's factories in Riihimäki and Pärnu. Casemet's annual turnover for the fiscal year ending March is expected to be EUR 16m and is expected to be EUR 21m in the next period after the recent acquisition according to Lansi Savo.
