Topdanmark is looking for acquisitions (FinansWatch)

Topdanmark is looking for acquisitions if the right opportunities arise. However, recently the valuations have been too high for them to invest. CFO, Lars Thykier tells Børsen that their first priority is to grow organically, but that they are also looking for acquisitions if the right opportunities arise.

EQT enters exclusive negotiations to acquire SAUR Group (Press Release)

EQT has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire SAUR Group, a leading French drinking water and wastewater management company providing water infrastructure management services for municipalities under long-term contracts. SAUR has approx. 9.000 employees and provides service to approx. 13 million consumers worldwide. Moreover, the group reported revenues of EUR 1.29 bn in 2017. 

Wolters Kluwer acquires Företagsplatsen (Realtid)

The Dutch software company Wolters Kluwer acquires the Swedish software company Företagsplatsen. Wolter Kluwer hopes that the synergies between the two companies will strengthen both companies' offers. Today, Företagsplatsen supplies a cloud-based Business Intelligence solution to the accounting and audit industry in the Scandinavian market. Företagsplatsen will continue as its own business unit within Wolters Kluwer.

Wilhelmsen cancels the acquisition of Drew Marine Group (E24)

The shipping company Wilhelmsen has agreed with Drew Marine Group to cancel the acquisition, following both the competition authorities in Singapore and the United States has opposed the merger. CEO of Wilhelmsen says that they disagree with the US competition authorities and they are disappointed that they are not able to implement the agreement.
