Velux is looking for acquisitions (Energiwatch)

Following several years with stagnation, the new CEO David Briggs has set as a target to increase the growth in the company. Velux is set to become stronger in new businesses which is why they are looking for acquisitions if the right opportunity arises. This is a part of their growth strategy for the next 3-4 years.

Atlas Copco acquires German joining technology business (Evertiq)

The leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, Atlas Copco, has closed the acquisitions of the assets of Klingel Joining Technologies. Klingel Joining Technologies is based near Munich and had revenues of approx. EUR 8.5m in 2017 and 23 employees who are now joining Atlas Copco. The acquires business specializes in flow drill technology, which is a joining method used in the automotive industry.

CM Tools acquires IS Automationin (ESS)

The automation engineering company and supplier of domestic tools and industrial cargo, CM Tools, has acquired IS Automationin. The new acquisition has a yearly turnover of approx. EUR 10m and 70 employees.
