EQT V and VI to sell Norwegian Broadnet to EQT infrastructure III (Realtid)

EQT V and VI sells Broadnet, Norway’s leading alternative fiber-based data communications provider, to EQT Infrastructure III. Already two years ago, speculation rumored that the Swedish PE firm considered selling Broadband. Now a sale is a reality, however, between three EQT funds. During the ownership from 2014 to 2017, revenues increased from NOK 1.4bn to NOK 1.7bn and adjusted EBITDA increased from NOK 330m to NOK 550m.

EVRY acquires Swedish Findwise AB (Hegnar)

EVRY has acquired Findwise AB, a leading Nordic provider of advanced search, advanced analytics and big data services.  Findwise has 120 employees and reported a turnover of SEK 106.7m and EBITDA of SEK 9.9m in 2017. Findwise has offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Warsaw andHelsinki.

Hong Kong based PE firm acquires Boreal (Hegnar)

Everbright Overseas Infrastructure Investment Fund (EOIIF), a PE fund based in Hong Kong, has agreed to acquire 100% of the shares in Boreal Holding AS. Boreal is a leading national company within public transportation operating buses, coaches, trams and ferries. The company has 2.300 employees across Norway and reported a turnover of NOK 2.7bn in 2017.
