Kabe acquires a minority share in Coachman (Realtid)

KABE Husvagnar, a Swedish producer of caravans acquires a 21.5 percent share in the British producer Coachman. The goal is to create synergies between the two companies within product development and purchasing. The transaction will be financed by issuing new shares. 

Sandvik looking to divest Varel (VA Finans)

Sandvik has decided to make a strategic evaluation of Varel, their oil- and gas activities. Varel is not part of their core business, as they are not a market leader in their respective field. Sandvik has also stated that they are looking for new acquisition targets, which builds upon two recent acquisition: Metrologic Group in April and Inrock in July. 

Bulgarian authorities looking to block MTG sale of Nova Group (VA Finans)

The Bulgarian authorities are looking to block MTG's sale of Nova Group to PPF Group, according to Bloomberg and Reuters. Nova Group is the largest media group in Bulgaria with a revenue in 2017 of 991M SEK and the transaction was valued at 185M EUR. MTG established themselves in Bulgaria in 2007, but is now divesting off their Central- and Eastern European businesses.

Genstar Capital acquires CRF Health from Vitruvian Partners (News Cision)

Genstar Capital is set to acquire CRF Health, a Finnish a provider of eSource solutions for the life science industry. Genstar Capital will combine CRF Health with Bracket, another portfolio company of Genstar Capital. Combined they will have more than 1500 employees. The seller Vitruvian invested in CRF Health in January 2015.
