Danish seed company DLF acquires PGG Wrighton Seeds  (Maskinbladet)

The Danish supplier of grass seeds and other crops DLF acquires PGG Wrightson Seeds, a seed company located in Christchurch, New Zealand. This acquisition is a part of DLF's strategy to expand its activities in the southern hemisphere. The transaction is awaiting approval from the authorities and is expected to be completed within 6 months. If the transaction is approved, DLF becomes a global leading supplier of seeds.

Trelleborg acquires American Sil-Pro (Cision)

The industrial group Trelleborg acquires the American Sil-Pro, a contract manufacturer of precision components in silicone and thermoplastic components that also offer assembly of medical equipment. Sil-Pro is headquartered in Minnesota, US, and reported sales of SEK 350m in 2017. Business Area Manager for Trelleborg Sealing Solutions states: "The acquisition complements our existing offer and expands our product range in areas like drug delivery and surgical tools." The deal is expected to be completed at the beginning of Q1 2019.  

- Norway -

IAG CEO is still interested in acquiring Norwegian (E24)

According to the CEO of IAG, there has not been any contact between IAG and Norwegian since last bid, which was declined. However, in a BBC interview, he states that he believes he can turn around Norwegian's tight financial situation if they become a part of IAG. He also mentions that IAG is not interested in being a longterm shareholder in Norwegian unless they acquire the whole company, referring to the purchase of Norwegian shares corresponding to 4.61 percent of the total shares in Norwegian, which they purchased earlier this year.
