Shearwater GeoServices to acquire division of Schlumberger (Press Release)

Shearwater GeoServices is set to acquire the marine seismic acquisition division of Schlumberger. Shearwater is a joint-venture between GC Rieber Shipping and Rasmussengruppen and is a provider of marine geophysical services. The transaction is valued at 600M USD and will be financed by an even mix of debt and equity.

Rantalainen Group expands with acquisition (kauppalehti)

Rantalainen Group has acquired a part of Visma Group's operations in Finland. The division acquired is the Visa-division and it is supposed to strengthen Rantalainen Group's position as a provider of financial services within salary- and HR services. Rantalainen Group had a revenue of 42M EUR last year.

Viria Security has acquired Proteco-Turvatekniikka Oy (vasabladet)

Viria Security has acquired Proteco-Turvatekniikka Oy, a Finnish provider of digital security systems. The acquisition is meant to strengthen Viria Security's position in central Finland and comes just days after they acquired another security firm Ymon Oy.
