Egmont becomes majority owner of the Swedish company Outnorth (Nordic9)

Copenhagen-based publishing division of Danish media group Egmont, Egmont Publishing, has announced the acquisition of the majority in Swedish e-commerce retailer Outnorth. Outnorth sells equipment and apparel for outdoor activities and training. Egmont will acquire 90% of the shares in Outnorth from Verdane, and the two founders, Stefan and Per Gustafsson. Outnorth reported sales of SEK 430m in 2017.

Kirk Kapital acquires a third of Globeteam (Press Release)

Kirk Kapital has acquires 34 percent of the IT consultancy Globeteam. Currently, Globeteam has 75 consultants connected to Globeteam and provides IT consulting services to private and public sector companies. Globeteam expects to report turnover of DKK 190m in 2017 with a continuous growing surplus on he bottom line.

Loomis acquires Sequel International Logistics (USA) (Cision)

One of the largest secure logistics companies in India sells its US business, Sequel International Logistics (USA) to Loomis AB for approx. USD 2m. Sequel International Logistics (USA) has approx. 15 employees and reported revenue of USD 2.6m in 2017. With the acquisition Loomis enhance its positions within International Valuables Logistics in the US market and also partners up with Sequel in India.
