Danish IT company Plandays raises DKK 261m (ComputerWorld)
The IT company Plandays which was established just 5 years ago has raised DKK 261m from SEB Private Equity, Creandum and Idinvest. Planday offers a online employee scheduling software and has about 180 employees in six different countries. The company has customers in 39 countries and in Germany their sales is up with 400% according to CEO Christian Brøndum.

Summit Partners invests in Danish Onrobot (Borsen 30/08 p. 8)
Summit Partners and Vækstfonden invest several hundred millions DKK in the Danish robot company Onrobot. This will help Onrobot making acquisitions all over the world, which always has been their plans. They plan to make between 8 and 12 acquisition in the next couple of years.

Polaris acquires Falck Safety Services(Borsen 30/08 p. 14)
The daughter company of Falck, Falck Safety Services, has been sold to the Private Equity firm Polaris. The financial details have not been disclosed, but according to Borsen's sources, Polaris has paid a three-digit million DKK figure.

Stillfront is looking for new acquisitions (Breakit)
Stillfront has just released its quarterly report, reporting sales of SEK 329m in second quarter, which is up from SEK 225m for the same period last year. CEO states that their acquisition of Goodgame Studios has strengthened their market position, and that they are still looking for potential acquisitions within the fields of gaming.  

Swedol acquires the Finnish company Duunivaruste (Realtid)
Swedol acquires Duunivaruste, a Finnish-based company offering professional clothes and personal protective equipment. In 2017, Duunivaruste reported turnover of about EUR 2.3. CEO of Swedol states that acquisitions are an important part of their growth, and Finland is a market they see a great potential in.

Coop Vest and Coop Orkla Møre merges (Porten)
The new large company has been names Coop Nordvest, which will have 2300 employees and 140 shops, together with 144.000 members. Important factors for the merger were that they wanted to achieve greater economies of scale, better competencies, a greater impact on the Coop system nationally and the safeguarding of value and workplaces.

- Finland -

Karjalainen acquire Iskelmä Rex and Radio City Joensuu (Kauppalehti)
The newspaper Karjalainen has purchased the radio business of Joensuulaisen Najarosin. The deal includes both Iskelmä Rexiä and Radio City Joensuuta. The deal is not expected to have a large impact on the group's net sales and earnings for 2018.
