Shell has sold all of its shares in Dansk Undergrunds Consortium (DUC) to Norwegian Energy Company (Noreco) for USD 1.9bn. DUC holds the majority of oil production in the Danish North Sea shelf. The stake size is 36.8%. Shell has now completely exited the Danish North Sea. Total SA remains the second largest shareholder in DUC (31.2%) followed by Nordsøfonden (20%) and Chevron Corp. (12%).
