Skincity acquires British online skin care retailer Effortless Skin

Scandinavian online skincare brand Skincity has acquired the majority of shares in the competitor, Effortless Skin, one of the UK’s leading online cosmeceutical skin care retailers. The acquisition is the first of its kind by the Axel Johnson backed Swedish skincare firm. The acquired British company, operating from Manchester, had sales of approximately SEK 34m during the fiscal year 2017/18. In 2017, Skincity reported a turnover of SEK 280m.
