The oil companies Eni and Point Resources merges
July 3, 2018

The merger between Italian Eni and Norwegian Point Resources means that the company is becoming the fourth largest oil company on Norwegian ground with a production of around 180.000 barrels a day. In comparison, Aker BP has a production of around 140.000 barrels a day, which is valued at almost NOK 110 bn on the Oslo exchange. However, the merger between Eni and Point Resources does not reveal anything about the values of the two companies.
