The Danish M&A market continues to be hot with no slow-down in H1-2019 and solid outlook

Executive Summary:
Based on our analysis of Danish M&A transactions over the last 12 months and our analysis of Danish firms owned by private equity funds, we found the following:

*129 acquisitions in the first 6 months of 2019 - a 10% increase from H2-2018

*14 Large Deals in H1-2019 vs. 9 in the second half of 2018  

*64 acquisitions by foreign investors - a 39% increase from H2-2018

*18 acquisitions by private equity firms - 7 fewer than in H2-2018

*14 exits by private equity firms - 3 more than in H2-2018

*We have identified 42 private-equity owned firms in Denmark which we expect to come to market in the foreseeable future based on current performance and ownership period ("exit candidates")

*The Danish M&A market continues to be hot and there is no indication of a slow-down in terms of the number of deals or expected upcoming deal-flow
